After not playing a game for ten days – mostly training after a three-day break – CF Montreal will return to action on Wednesday night at Saputo Stadium against the in-form Nashville SC.

“It feels good to have that time off to recharge the batteries”, answered Losada when asked about the break prompted by the Concacaf Nations League finals.

“Mentally, we need the break and were ready to get back this Wednesday and Saturday.”

CF Montreal will play two games this week, hosting Nashville on Wednesday. They will then travel this weekend to face Charlotte on Saturday.

“Everyone is good and with a lot of motivation and energy and good vibes.”

Losada was asked about teams playing so well at home but struggling on the road.

“Honestly, I don’t know. I don’t have an explanation, it’s happening across the league, but there are ways to get points on the road and we will see how we can improve on that.”

Nashville currently sits second in the Eastern Conference. Losada spoke about what to expect.

“They are in-form, they are on a ten-game unbeaten streak, and the best player in the league is there, so it will be complicated – but at home we can do something special. It will be an interesting game.”

Mathieu Choiniere gave his thoughts on what it is going to take to beat one of the best teams in the league in Nashville.

“We know they are a good team offensively”, Choiniere replied. “We know they have some big guns upfront and we will try to implement our style of play and playing at home we want to delight our fans.”
