The 2026 Canadian Premier League Schedule Is Here
The 2026 Canadian Premier League season has its schedule.
With Canada set to co-host the FIFA Men’s World Cup this summer, the shape of the 112-match CPL regular season will shift to include a World Cup break and a late fall playoff championship, with the 2026 CPL Final set to take place on the weekend of November 21 to 22.

The league’s eighth season will kick off on April 4 with regular season winner Forge FC hosting CPL champion Atletico Ottawa, with Vancouver hosting Halifax after that and Pacific hosting Cavalry on Sunday.
The league has ensured that all eight clubs will host a home match in the first three weeks of league play. FC Supra du Quebec will play its inaugural home match on Sunday, April 19, welcoming La Belle Province to the party. The club will play two matches at CEPSUM Stadium before switching to Stade Boreale on May 3, though it will also play a match at Stade Telus and two at Compelxe Sportif Claude-Robillard, too.
Inter Toronto Football Club, which has a bye for the first week, will have its home opener in matchweek two.

We also see Pacific FC continue to test the waters of downtown Victoria with four matches now slated for Royal Athletic Park, twice in the spring and twice at the tail end of the season, including for the Tridents’ last regular-season home match. With the club still not on good terms with the City of Langford, the increased focus to play elsewhere should come as no surprise.
The 2026 CPL regular season will feature a World Cup break preceded by a series of celebration matches across the country, including three games on June 10 in Toronto, Vancouver, and Hamilton that are designed to kick off the World Cup festivities one day before the pinnacle of world football itself begins.
Canada’s top flight will pause its regular season for the World Cup before resuming on June 26 ahead of a Canada Day double-header.
The regular season will run through to October, with ‘The Outcome’ – when all eight clubs kick off simultaneously – scheduled for October 25. That means the Canadian Premier League is leaning heavily into the shoulder month of November for playoffs, with the 2026 CPL Final set for the weekend of November 21 to 22.
Suffice to say: we might just get another snowy finale to cap off Year 8.

“With soccer on the verge of its most transformative year in Canada’s history, this year’s Canadian Premier League schedule is built to harness that energy, creating not only a memorable moment for fans across the country, but a roadmap for sustained growth and innovation in the sport long into the future,” says Canadian Soccer Business CEO James Johnson, who recently put forth a rebrand for Canada’s domestic soccer pathway.
This will be the league’s first season without Winnipeg’s Valour FC following the club’s suspension of operations in November, though the number of teams remains at eight due to the timely arrival of FC Supra du Quebec.

Fans hoping to tune into Canadian Premier League action will be able to watch every match live on OneSoccer, which is also carried by fuboTV. Last season saw TSN pick up a match of the week format for covering Canada’s top flight, with the CPL assuring that additional broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
