AFC Toronto Parts Ways With Defender Jordan Brewster
Jordan Brewster’s AFC Toronto chapter has come to an end after just four starts, with the centre-back departing through a quiet, brief roster announcement released by the club last night.
The defender and AFC Toronto mutually agreed to terminate her contract, freeing Brewster to move on after making six appearances overall.
“AFC Toronto thanks Jordan for her contributions to the Club and wishes her continued success in the next chapter of her career,” read the club statement.

The Canton, Ohio native had arrived as a high -ceiling signing from NWSL side Bay FC, having spent the last season on loan with Liga MX Femenil side Club America. A ormer US U-20 international, Brewster had experienced playing abroad even before her Mexico chapter, having started her pro career with Swedish side Kristianstads DFF.
With Canadian international Shelina Zardorsky arriving in July and jumping in as a centre-back starter, it appears minutes for Brewster would be hard to come by, particularly with Sarah Rollins showing no signs of slowing down in the middle of the defensive line.
AFC Toronto currently sits third in league standings, having just broken the BMO Field curse to win a match by the lakeshore for the first time in club history.
