Feeling Blue: Altitude FC Introduce New Strip For 2023
League1 BC’s North Shore outfit has continued their streak of producing stunning jerseys in the lead up to their 2023 season.
Revealed yesterday after first being teased back in January, the team debuted their new blue jersey with a slick-made video by the Vancouver-based TAILSLATE Productions.
For the second year in a row, their on-field identity has been inspired by the beautiful mountain ranges that define the North Shore’s skyline and it’s place in the southern part of BC’s ‘Sea-to-Sky country’. Last year, the club donned two contrasting kits: a black “Mountain Camo” jersey and the predominantly-white “Mountainscape” shirt.
According to the club’s release on Instagram, the new kits depict a minimalist landscape of the North Shore’s mountain range known as the ‘Two Sisters’ or ‘The Lion’ in a multi-toned blue.
The new kit also sees the club transition to a new jersey producer, going from Inaria in 2022 to Macron now.
Macron has been the outfitter for all eight Canadian Premier League franchises since the league started back in 2019. They also outfit numerous League1 Canada teams including the likes of the Victoria Highlanders, Calgary Foothills FC, and Sigma FC. In recent years we have seen several teams at the Division 3 make the switch to Macron.
Now whether this is signaling that League1 Canada owners Canada Soccer Business are planning a division-wide deal with the Italian sportswear manufacturer is to be seen.
Altitude’s jersey is out now for purchase in the club’s online store. They will also be slated to wear the new kit at their home opener on May 7th as the Altitude premier men’s and women’s teams take on Langley’s Unity FC.
