Atletico Ottawa Launches End-Of-Season Roster Update

Canadian Premier League club Atletico Ottawa has confirmed its end-of-season roster update, which comes amidst the search for a new head coach following the departure of Carlos Gonzalez.

Locked in for 2025 is goalkeeper Nathan Ingham, defenders Tyr Walker and Jonathan Grant, midfielders Abou Sissoko, Kris Twardek, Noah Verhoven, and star talent Manny Aparicio, and forwards Ballou Tabla and Kevin Santos.

There are choices to be made on five players on club options: goalkeeper Rayane Yesli, defenders Zachary Roy, Matteo de Brienne, and Amer Didic, along with forward Samuel Salter, who was purchased from Halifax. The club has until December 31 to make their decisions on them.

Swiss striker Ruben Del Campo is on an expiring contract, so it remains to be seen if the attacker will be back for a third season after tallying fourteen goals this year. Veteran Alberto Zapater is also on an expiring deal, as are Gabriel Antinoro and Jesus del Amo.

(Update: Ruben Del Campo announced his departure later in the day)

Midfielder Ollie Bassett has left the club and will play for the Tampa Bay Rowdies next season, while club captain Maxim Tissot has retired.

The loans for Luke Singh, Liberman Torres, Dani Morer, and Ilias Illiadis have all concluded. Both Singh and Illiadis are both now free agents after having been loosed by Toronto FC and CF Montreal, respectively.
