It’s here: Canada Soccer has unveiled its new look for the 2024 national team home and away kits.

Running an ‘inspired by tomorrow’ tagline, the red-and-white threads still pay homage to Canadian football icons of the past while ushering in era for the country.

Both kits will feature the continued Canada Soccer ‘Power Lines’ font, which was inspired by the Maple Leaf and designed in collaboration Nike, who will produce the kits. They’ll be made with Nike’s proprietary DRI-FIT ADV technology, a sustainable material that keeps focus on mobility and breathability for players donning the uniform.

The new Canada 2024 home kit comes in an iconic two-tone red and a sharp white swoosh on the collar, which is a clear homage to some of the country’s older looks. The colours of the darker red sleeves also enjoy a two-tone finesse with a complimentary white and lighter red tone, completing a unique look for Canada come 2024.

Paying homage to the past is a motif that certainly rears its head in Canada’s new away look, which takes shape as a classic spin on the red vertical pinstripe on a backdrop of white. There’s purposefulness behind the number of thirteen stripes, which represent the 10 Provinces and three Territories which comprise Canada itself.

The new 2024 Canada Soccer kits will make their debut in short order for both the men’s and women’s national teams. The men will don the new Nike threads for the country’s must win Copa America Play-In match against Trinidad and Tobago on March 23, while the women’s national team will wear the 2024 kits for its SheBelieves Cup matches on April 6 and 9.

Fans keen to get their hands on the sharp-looking tops will need to exercise some patience, however, as they’ll have to wait longer to wear them: Canada Soccer says they won’t be available to purchase from the official store until May.
