Quebec’s Canadian Premier League team has nearly filled its roster ahead of the 2026 Canadian Premier League season – its first in the league.

Today saw FC Supra du Quebec confirmed the signings of two former CS Saint-Laurent ballers in Safwane Mlah and Olivier Correa. Both midfielders have committed to one-year contracts which include club options for 2027.

Safwane Mlah, 24, will be a name familiar to those who have kept abreast of the league’s last two seasons. The midfielder arrives from a two-year spell with Valour, having tallied 39 appearances for the Winnipeg side after stepping turning heads in the Canadian Championship run with CS Saint-Laurent – something that led both he and Supra’s Loic Kwemi to crack the pro ranks.

He was made a free agent by default following the Valour’s suspension of operations in November.

“Safwane’s addition to the squad is significant not only for the CPL experience he brings but also for the natural chemistry he shares with many players in our group, having developed and played within similar football circles,” says Supra head coach Nick Razzaghi, who coached Mlah during their Saint-Laurent days.

It was known that Olivier Correa had impressed as a camp trialist, now arriving to the FC Supra roster as another product of the CS Saint-Laurent pipeline. The attacking midfielder is fresh off an eight-goal haul in Quebec’s semi-pro ranks and had looked sharp with NCAA Division 1 side Jacksonville University.

“Olivier represents exactly the type of player we want in this squad,” explains Supra sporting director Mateo Cabanettes. “He’s highly competitive with an instinct for goal, just as we expect from every player who represents FC Supra.”

While the club remains in need of another attacking option up top, it remains to be seen who might crack one of FC Supra’s final roster spots ahead of its inaugural season.

The club would be keen to take a striker in on loan from CF Montreal, though it remains to be seen if a loan move will get over the line ahead of the 2026 CPL season.

FC Supra saw former CPL midfielder Cedric Toussaint feature in a preseason tilt, while Zachary Fernandez has spent this spring with the team as he recovers from injury.

The midfield contingent is certainly Supra’s biggest surplus, with Charles Auguste, Alessandro Biello, Oussama Boughanmi, David Choiniere, Olivier Correa, Omar Elkalkouli, Safwane Mlah, Sean Rea, Aboubacar Sissoko, and Wesley Wandje all enlisted for ‘26.

FC Supra will play its first-ever match away on Vancouver Isle, taking on Pacific FC on April 11.
