Forge FC Unveils End-Of-Season Roster Update

With Forge FC publishing its end-of-season roster update, all eight Canadian Premier League clubs have now provided updated looks at their rosters.

The four-time CPL champions have six players who remain on guaranteed deals for 2025: club originals Alexander Achinioti-Jonsson, David Choiniere and Elimane Cisse are locked in, with Noah Jensen, Khadim Kane, and Nana Ampomah rounding out all the confirmed returnees.

The club is also in discussions with some of its athletes on expiring contracts, which includes defenders Malcom Duncan, Garven Metusala, and Dominic Samuel, midfielder Alessandro Hojabrpour, forwards Tristan Borges, Terran Campbell, Jordan Hamilton, and midseason reinforcement Viktor Klonaridis.

Captain Kyle Bekker’s contract is also set to expire at season’s end, though the 34-year-old hopes to keep forging on in the hammer. His negotiations also continue.

There are a further six players whom Forge holds club options on, with Bobby Smyrniotis having until December 31 to trigger them. These are for goalkeepers Christopher Kalongo and Jassem Koleilat, defender Abdulmalik Owolabi-Belewu, midfielder Orlendis Benitez, and forwards Beni Badibanga and Sebastian Castello.

The club also holds a loan option on full-back Daniel Parra, who had proven a strong addition from CF Monterrey. Former CF Montreal loanee Matteo Schiavoni is now a free agent following his release from the MLS side.

The hammers have also retained U SPORTS rights for Amadou Kone and Dino Bontis for 2025.
