GoGo SqueeZ Launches Campaign For Women’s World Cup

Canada Soccer’s official fruit snack partner Gogo SqueeZ is getting in on the Women’s World Cup action, and all for a good cause.

The company – who became the official plant protein partner for Canada Soccer last January, while also featuring prominently in the Canadian Premier League – is introducing a new campaign adorably called GoGo Goals which invites parents to share their children’s journey towards their own goals and dreams.

So long as parents are showcasing their children training or playing the game, supporting the Canadian women’s national team, or simply staying healthy, they can enter a GoGo squeeZ competition that will see one lucky winner get a prize experience that they can help define, with possibilities including a private meet and greet session with the women’s national team, a coaching session with some of the players, or a full kit in the stunning new women’s national team look, amongst other possibilities.

Two members of the national team, Janine Beckie and Jayde Riviere, will directly support the campaign as its ambassadors, indicating that the potential coaching session would likely include them.

“I’ve always enjoyed their convenient snack pouches growing up and still do to this day,” said Riviere about GoGo squeeZ. “But most importantly, they are a brand giving back to the Canadian community through sport, which is something really close to my heart and that I am proud to be a part of.”

As a bonus, each time the Canadian women’s national team secures a victory whilst down under, GoGo squeeZ will unlock an additional prize experience, too.

The women’s national team opened the tournament with a nil-nil draw against Nigeria, and will face Ireland tomorrow before closing the group against co-host Australia on Monday.

The women’s national team still hopes that its ongoing pay equity dispute with Canada Soccer will be resolved shortly, with the organization also recently signing a new multi-year deal with Telus while securing a women’s-specific funding boost through GE Appliances Canada.

The GoGo Goals campaign will run until August 20, 2023.
