Dominick Zator’s high-stakes move to Poland continues to pay off.

The 29-year-old Canadian has put pen to paper on a new deal with Polish top flight side Korona Kielce, having cementing himself as a starting centre-back in Europe after helping the side avoid relegation and retain its top flight status.

Zator’s new contract will keep him with the red-and-yellow through to June 2025.

The big, burly centre-back had made over one hundred appearances in the Canadian Premier League prior to the move, and has now managed to tally some 46 appearances for Korona Kielce, contributing two assists and one goal in that time.

His efforts abroad have also kept him on the national team radar, with Zator having earned a Canada national team nod last year while cracking Mauro Biello’s preliminary roster this month.

However, the red-and-yellow club are in the midst of another relegation battle this year. Zator has yet to miss a single minute 25 matches into the seasons, even donning the captain’s armband on a couple of occasions.

It wouldn’t be his first career iron man campaign, with the defender doing so in a 2021 CPL campaign for York United that saw him earn a defender of the year nomination.

His latest Polish chapter isn’t his only spell in Europe, with Zator having spend a season on loan with Vasalunds IF back in 2021 after coming close to a English Championship move the season prior.
