Revolution II Beckons: It’s MLS Next Pro For Myles Morgan

Canadian forward Myles Morgan is back in MLS Next Pro for the third time.

The 20-year-old is coming in fresh from an individually-successful outing with Canadian Premier League side Valour FC, for whom he tallied seven goals and three assists in what became the club’s final campaign.

His highlight was undoubtedly a hat trick performance against Champions Cup-bound Vancouver FC back in September, just two months before Valour itself would suspend operations. He finished as the side’s top goalscorer for 2025.

The Toronto-born forward got his start with the Toronto FC Academy system to eventually represent the TFC2 through 312 minutes of MLS Next Pro action, tallying two goals. He found more game time out west with Whitecaps FC 2 after that, making 22 appearances for the WFC2 before his stint in Winnipeg this year.

Morgan has also represented Canada at the U-20 stage, tallying an impressive five goals in six appearances.

His arrival to New England Revolution II comes shortly after his new side confirmed the departure of Liam Butts to Atlanta United 2, opening up a good spot for Morgan to fight for big minutes.

The Canadian forward isn’t the only Valour FC player to land a stateside move, with full-back Kelsey Egwu signing for Monterey Bay. Elsewhere, Kianz Froese has landed in Indonesia, while both Kris Twardek and Gianfranco Facchineri have inked moves to Ireland.

Remarkably, none of the final Valour FC squad have – at least publicly – signed on with another CPL team as of yet.

New England’s signing of Myles Morgan is still pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.
