CPL Striker Jordan Brown Returns To English Football

Former Pacific striker Jordan Brown has returned to English football through non-league side Northwood FC.

The 27-year-old had been without club for a season and a half following the end of his last CPL stint, where he made eight appearances for a Pacific side who needed a fill-in for Alejandro Diaz.

Northwood FC plies its trade in the seventh level of English football. Brown has been a journeyman footballer for much of his career, having last played club football in his home country with Barnet in 2018.

“Back to doing what I love most,” said the striker online.

The West Ham Academy product once played for Cavalry, scoring the club’s first-ever goal – his first of eight over the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

He embarked on short stints with VfR Aalen and Icelandic outfit Fylkir after that, before former Electric City President Rob Jenkins brought him back to Canadian pastures in League1 Ontario. Things didn’t go well there following Jenkins’ departure, however, with Brown returning to professional heights with Pacific one year later.

His new club calls the Southern League Division One Central home after being transferred from the Isthmian League’s South Central division last season, where there’s finished 15th out of 21 teams.
