Dressed To The Nines: York United Reveals Stylish 2024 Kits

Canadian Premier League side York United has revealed both its primary and alternate kits, showcasing two stunning looks that continue both the club’s commitment to white primary kits complimented by its alternative option through a timeless green, blue, and gold look too.

Without further ado, here are the York United 2024 kits:

Revealed in partnership with Etobicoke United, the York United 2024 primary kit reveals a vertical blue stripe accented by gold, with inverted thin green stripes completing the look. A thick green lined compliments the collar trim, while the faithful blue-and-green motif caps off the sleeve.

It’s worth noting that both of the club’s new kits feature a brand new textured rubber badge that brings a nice pop to the look, and a nice shine upon closer inspection.

As expected, Carlsberg returns as the club’s primary kit sponsor, while CIBC will continue to be a sleeve sponsor on a league-wide scale.

The official York United FC alternate kit (which was leaked a little early) sees a checkboard pattern of blue and green compliments not only by some sharp-looking stripes within each piece, but a double-rim of gold on the sleeve to complete a classy palette.

A checkmate-look from York United? You be the judge.

Both kits were led in design by Rob Marchese, who has been York United’s graphical ambassador. He filmed the above vides, and even helped the club’s total rebranding after its second season. It also marks the last kit that former Club President Angus McNab worked on, so it’ll be interesting to see if 2025 brings any sharp changes in looks.

New Club President Ricardo Pasquel has preached a community-focused identity for the side, with the club already running a competition that will see its winner involved in the creation of one of next year’s kits.

York United will be heading to Mexico for preseason camp shortly, though they’ll face rival side Forge behind closed doors beforehand. The Nine Stripes will kick off the club’s sixth-ever season in the nation’s capital against Atletico Ottawa on April 13.
