Pacific Goes Blue For New Alternate Kits
Some fresh Canadian Premier League threads are springing up on Vancouver Isle.
Today, Pacific FC has unveiled its secondary kit, marking a departure from its white-coloured alternative threads into new light blue territory for the Tridents.
The new Sky’s The Limit kit pays homage to Pacific’s professional football pathway on the Isle, and that’s reflected in the inclusion of several local athletes in the campaign, including 17-year-old Trident Sami Keshavarz, who turned professional with the side in December.
This will be the club’s alternate kit, with the presumably-purple primary colours still to be unveiled. The Sky’s The Limit jersey comes swathed in a light blue sky with navy blue sleeves, a nod to the colours of Pacific’s youth development program.
The club explains that the Sky’s The Limit kit represents a call to the next generation of players who might progress from the amateur ranks to one day represent Pacific FC itself.
As such, every secondary kit sold will see primary kit sponsor TELUS donate one Pacific match ticket to KidSport of Greater Victoria, with those tickets set to be used for Pacific’s themed Kids Takeover Match on October 5, 2025.
“We designed this kit as a tribute to the work we’ve done through our youth development program that sets us apart from other teams in the CPL,” says Pacific director of ticketing and marketing Simon Avila.
“The Island has always been a hub for talent and we’re incredibly proud to see the results of a pathway from grassroots to professional soccer within our club.”
Pacific confirms that it’s primary kit for the 2025 CPL season will be unveiled in the next few weeks. The club’s campaign will kick off in just under a month with a home opener against Valour on April 5, 2025.
Thus far, it’s the closest we’ve seen to the club’s original teal alternative kit from the inaugural season. Some of the branding shots from this year’s thread sport CIBC on the sleeve, though it looks like the bank will not with the league this year. Any jersey prints featuring CIBC sleeves will likely be patched over.
Pacific becomes the fourth side to have given fans a look at at least one new kit slated for 2025, Cavalry showing off the Wildrose kit, Atletico Ottawa showing their nod to the Madrid double, and the Halifax Wanderers just unveiling both their new primary and alternate looks.
