Vancouver Rise To Open Season At BC Place
This Thursday morning saw Vancouver Rise FC release its full schedule for the inaugural 2025 Northern Super League season, including the club’s home-opener against Calgary Wild FC at BC Place on April 16th.
“This is an incredibly exciting moment for our team and the league,” said Vancouver Rise FC’s President Sinead King.
“Kicking off the NSL in Vancouver feels especially meaningful, given the city’s passion for soccer and the key role our ownership played in bringing the league to life.”

“We’re thrilled to host the first game at BC Place, surrounded by dedicated fans. With twelve home games on the schedule, we can’t wait to see everyone at BC Place on April 16 and then at Swangard Stadium for the rest of the season!”
The NSL Season will consist of a 25-game regular season that runs from April to October, followed by playoffs that conclude in a National Championship Final in November.
Following its opening at BC Place, Vancouver Rise will use Swangard Stadium as its traditional home ground.
With three home games to kick off their season, the Rise will be looking to set an early precedent as title favourites after making big moves for national team players like Quinn and Samantha Chang.
