Cavalry Lands Dutch Dangerman Sellouf
It’s a lethal free agent signing for CPL powerhouse Cavalry FC.
The reigning champions have secured the services of Dutch forward Ayman Sellouf on a deal that includes club options for 2026 and 2027.
The 23-year-old was a potent attacker for Pacific FC, where a breakout season in ‘23 saw him tally seven goals and eight assists in 33 appearances. Last year saw a quieter start lead the way for a blockbuster trade to rival Vancouver FC, with Sellouf departing the club at the end of the season.
“Ayman is a very exciting player with excellent receiving skills, one-versus-one dribbling and finesse passes,” says Cavalry boss Tommy Wheeldon Jr.
“He will be able to unpick low block defences and bring even more flair and quality to our attack.”
Sellouf was born in the Netherlands and took his youth steps with RKSV Brakkenstein and Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie (NEC), turning professional with the latter in 2019.
“I’m very excited to join the club,” reveals Sellouf. “Cavalry has a winning culture and I’m looking forward to experiencing that and to contributing as best as I can.”
His new side are currently third in the CPL rankings. Sellouf could debut as soon as this Saturday, with the club set to host York United at ATCO Field.
