Pacific’s Injury Misfortune Mounts With Browning Out
When it comes to injury-plagued seasons, Pacific FC is certainly going through a heavy one.
The Tridents have just confirmed that midfielder Lukas Browning will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury against Atletico Ottawa one month ago.
He becomes the third Pacific player to suffer a long-term, season-ending injury this season, with both Juan Quintana and Ronan Kratt seeing their campaigns snuffed out in the same match all the way back in May.

Browning had made eighteen appearances since his arrival from the Swedish top flight this year, most of which came as full ninety-minute shifts. The club holds a club option on him for 2026, though it remains to be seen whether this will be triggered.
Pacific has two matches remaining in what has been a dim season for the club: they bowed out of playoff contention last month, with head coach James Merriman bluntly saying it’s definitely a tough season for the side – and that’s before considering that the team has also been listed for sale.
Pacific will be back in action this Thursday, playing away against a York United side who routed them 5-1 last time around. After that, the Tridents’ season will ebb with one last hurrah at home against Valour on October 18.
