Rising Tide: Pacific FC Unveils 2025 Primary Kit

By on March 17, 2025 0 1855 Views

The Canadian Premier League’s most western club had already unveiled their teal blue Sky’s The Limit alternate kit, with the Tridents now showcasing their purple primary look to fans ahead of the 2025 CPL season.

Enter the Rising Tide kit: a Macron-made purple fabric with embedded waves that pay homage to the waters surrounding Vancouver Isle – the Pacific ocean.

The collar and sleeves feature a flat white tone with a teal blue trim. The collar itself doesn’t wrap around the entire front, instead giving way to a tasteful flat purple strip. Since the launch of the club, Pacific has kept purple as its de facto home thread, and 2025 will be no different.

“Vancouver Island is more than a place – it’s an identity,” said Simon Avila, the club’s director of ticketing and marketing. “We designed this kit with our fans in mind, those who have been wearing purple since our first season and have grown along with us all these years.”

For now, it remains to be seen if Pacific FC will still utilize one of its indigenous kits as a third choice, which is something they’ve done in the past.

Fans can also pick up a gold champion legacy badge with the kit to honour the club’s 2021 CPL championship, though the badge itself is sold separately. Telus will continue to the club’s kit sponsor.

While the store images still show some remnants of CIBC as a sleeve sponsor, the major bank is no longer with Canada’s top flight. As we’ve seen with kits from other clubs, it looks like a Canadian flag insignia will be placed over where the CIBC text logo would have gone.

It was only last week when Winnipeg’s Valour FC unveiled both of their new kits for 2025, with Halifax having also unveiled their new primary and alternate looks. Elsewhere, Cavalry was the first team to drop new threads with the Wildrose kit, after which Atletico Ottawa unveiled their nod to the Madrid double.

The Tridents will kick off the season at home on April 5, hosting visitors from Winnipeg by way of Valour FC.
