Atletico Ottawa’s season ticket members enjoyed an early look at the club’s new primary kit today, with one social media post sharing an early look at the threads with online viewers, too.

From what we can see, it looks like the 2024 Atletico Ottawa kit will bring forth a much thinner strip design and a retro collar, with Maple Lodge Farms retaining its status as the primary kit sponsor for the second straight season.

Here’s new Ottleti midfielder Kris Twardek revealing the club’s new red-and-white look at today’s event:

The two-tone red stripes boast an inverted colour scheme for the diagonal stripes inside them, and a dark blue collar and trim to compliment the red-and-white primary colours. There’s also a subtle “Pour Ottawa / For Ottawa” motto at the bottom of the stripes, with the back of the kit transitioning to a full red colour block.

All Canadian Premier League clubs will continue to feature CIBC on the sleeves, with the bank having signed a multi-year deal with the league one year ago.

For now, the club’s alternate kit remains to be revealed. Last season saw Atletico Ottawa’s alternate kit revealed in a quickly-removed store listing, and it was quite a contrast to their traditional home threads. The club has been known to run special edition third kits for good causes, too.

Speaking of, it looks like the 2024 Atletico Ottawa kit will see sponsor Maple Lodge Farms submit a donation to feed hungry families with every kit sale, something which we imagine will be fully detailed when the club formally launches its primary kit.

Atletico Ottawa becomes just the second club to unveil any of its new threads for 2024, with Cavalry unveiling two kits a few weeks ago.

Ottawa’s CPL side is just under two months away from kicking off the club’s fifth-ever season, and expectations will be high following what has been a highly productive offseason thus far: the club retained much of its core whilst adding high-profile talent like Matteo de Brienne, Ballou Tabla, and Rayane Yesli, with the full compliment of additions making the club look capable of restoring itself as a serious title contender.
