Luton Loans Pepple Again, Now To Inverness CT

Former Cavalry forward Aribim Pepple – now with Luton Town – will embark on his third loan orchestrated by the Premier League side.

The 21-year-old will join Scottish second tier club Inverness Caledonian Thistle through to the end of the season, marking his first playing experience in England’s northern neighbours.

The move comes less than a month after he was recalled from non-league side Bromley, where he tallied six league appearances but hadn’t featured on the pitch for them over the three months.

His prior loan spell saw him head to League Two side Grimbsy Town, where he garnered 436 minutes of game time split across fifteen appearances.

He has yet to feature for Luton Town itself, who achieved promotion to the Premiership after signing Pepple from Cavalry in the summer of 2022.

The Kettering-born striker was in the midst of record-breaking form at the CPL level when Luton brought first him in, with the youngster having scored six goals in his last five games before Cavalry granted him a midseason ‘overseas leave’ to trial with his English suitors.

Pepple had ‘toured’ himself over in England before, having trialed with both Sheffield United and Leicester City back in 2021 before eventually landing with the Getafe U-19 squad in Spain, where he scored on his debut ahead of a CPL return with Cavalry.

Now embarking on his third loan, he’ll be hungry for minutes and an opportunity to show that Luton Town made the right move by hijacking the former Forest Green Rovers transfer target.

Back in Canada, his former side Cavalry finished as regular season champions in 2023, but fell to rivals Forge in the playoff final.
