Pacific FC Re-Signs Five More Players, Including Dixon and Blasco
Canadian Premier League side Pacific FC has continued to re-sign an important chunk of its core contingent, with the likes of Victor Blasco and Jamar Dixon set to return alongside Terran Campbell, Abdou Samake, and goalkeeper Callum Irving.
Given that Pacific FC head coach Pa-Modou Kah had told us that consistency was key to the side remaining a top North Star Shield contender, it should come as no surprise to see the bulk of the club’s roster returning.
The club has now announcing fourteen returning players while bringing in former Nine Stripes Captain Manny Aparicio, though many will be wondering if star player Marco Bustos will be moving on to a higher level.
All these re-signings are fantastic for us as we continue to build a roster to fight for championships. We have a bright future ahead of us.

The returning of 27-year-old former Ottawa Fury goalkeeper Callum Irving comes as no surprise, with Kah having stated that he’d like to see both of this year’s goalkeepers returning. Irving made six appearances at The Island Games, earning a golden glove nomination in the process.
Victor Blasco has proven to be an attacking talisman for the club throughout the last two years, with the Spanish-born attacker contributing 7 goals in 26 appearances. The club has also brought in Terran Campbell, a midfielder-turned-striker who was one of last year’s golden boot contenders.
Amidst a hot run of form last year, the duo contributed eleven goals in seven games between the two of them.
Former Fury midfielder Jamar Dixon was a force to reckoned with in midfield, combining with the likes of Marco Bustos and Alejandro Diaz to create one of the most fluent attacking sides in the burgenoing league. Capable of playing in centre midfield or defensively in the middle or the right flank, he gives Pa-Modou Kah quite a lot of options.
Jamar is a player who embodies our culture and philosophy. He has a veteran presence inside the locker and on the pitch.

The club also announced that 24-year-old defender Abdou Samake would be returning following his rookie season, with the Malian-Canadian expected to resume a depth role in the club.
Pacific FC did not disclose the lengths or financial details of today’s newly-announced contracts.
