First Look: Halifax Wanderers 2024 Kits

The Halifax Wanderers have unveiled both of the club’s new looks for the 2024 Canadian Premier League season.

Themed around Integrity and Innovation, the 2024 Halifax Wanderers kits will retain the traditional colour scheme of a blue primary kit and a gray-looking alternate variant (though they’re calling it an ‘icy blue’), which is a similar colour motif the team ran with last season.

Without further ado, here’s a first-look at the new Halifax Wanderers threads for 2024:

The primary kit features a Harbour blue look with a design that features a repeating map of Nova Scotia on the front and sleeves. The map even features small citadel shapes which are a direct homage to the Halifax Citadel itself, with small anchors marking the location of Halifax on the map pattern. The look includes a compass rose with the slogan ‘not all those who wander are lose, they’re seeking a place to call home’ sublimated on the back.

The alternate kit pays homage to the spirit of innovation through the region’s shipbuilding history, with an ‘icy blue ‘described as the base colour. It features a sublimated pattern of a collage of ship silhouettes that include the likes of the Bluenose II and HMCS Sackville, along with new ships being constructed in Halifax. Different shades of blue in the pattern highlight different ships and the Atlantic herself. The icy blue colour isn’t the first or even the second ice-themed kit seen in the league, but it comes together as a unique look overall.

As was expected, Volkswagen will enter its sixth straight season as the club’s primary chest sponsor, while CIBC continues to be each CPL side’s sleeve sponsor following the bank’s multi-year deal with the league.

The Halifax Wanderers become the second Canadian Premier League team to unveil both of its new kits for 2024, with Cavalry having unveiled its new looks in early February. That was soon followed by Atletico Ottawa’s community-focused primary kit, with York United’s new Club President incidentally leaking his club’s own alternate kit soon after.
